*Sigh* it wounds me that you don't like Feyre since she is one of my comfort characters - but I will try to forgive you. I'm excited to hear more about this pirate novel you're working on!
January was busier for me that usual, unintentionally so because I feel like that month is meant for pure hibernation. I finished up reading Priory of the Orange Tree though and really enjoyed it!
Ooo I'm glad to hear that was a good read. I'd like to read it but am intimidated by its size haha
oh and I DO like Feyre, sometimes I just find her thoughts of how "oh I could decimate this court if only I could be my true self before them" to be annoying. But overall, I think she's great. I probably like Rhysand better though
It is a brick, but it moves fairly quickly and the world is rich and unique without being too dense to understand! If you can make it through a Sanderson doorstop, you can definitely get through this one.
Well I got through his Mistborn books which aren't quite as big as Way of Kings. BUT I did blunder my way through Anna Karenina, so maybe I can manage Priory haha
I’m definitely going to check out Crescent City! I just recently discovered ACOTAR. That’s amazing about the interview, it sounds like you have some cool stuff coming up!!
I saw you replied to my comment on Substack Thread and I legitimately couldn’t find it in the sea of everyone else’s replies so I thought I would come here to say hi :)
It's so hard to keep track of those long comment threads. Crescent City is one of my favorite reads, even though in general I don't love Maas's novels.
After In Search of Lost Time Vol. 1, I'm digging into a Dostoevsky myself for my next quarterly read. Might actually get around to Crime & Punishment, lol.
Oh well it was an interview for an article, not for a job! I realize that it sounds confusing in my post. Man I WISH I could go work for a magazine that'd be amazing!
